hi there guyd.

i have been using the hauppage hvr 2200 dual tuner up until but recently i have been finding more and more reasons to need more tuners.

so is it a simple matter of finding another hvr 2200 and installing it (do i need to split my aerial to plug into both cards input?)

is there a better option/ way to go about it. cheapest is best as always.

cheers
allan

Adding a 2nd HVR-2200 should be fine. I ran 2 for ages (4 x DVB-T tuners). Yes, they'll both need signal input.

There are other ways to go about it. One is to use a network tuner
which provides you with two more tuners and if you are on a home network then those
two tuners can be used by any computer on the network.

Or you can get a USB dual tuner, they will work fine along with the HVR2200.

Or as Justin said you can just add another HVR2200, or use something like a Leadtek DTV2000DS,
these are usually much less expensive than the HVR2200 but still do a pretty good job(but they are PCI not PCIe).
