Does anyone still use epgstream.net for their epg data? I tried to configure it, register and donate but the site says they are not taking donations any longer. They also don't seem to respond to email. If people are not usingepgstream then what are they using?
Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray, they went defunct just before the FreeTV EPG started - that is, the government via ACMA establishing the basic requirement that all channels supply a free EPG transmission with their digital TV signals. If you are using Win7 Media Centre, the EPG will load the free TV EPGs for each channel when you set up the Media Centre TV signal process.

They disappeared off the face of the earth without notice and failed to respond to requests for status updates.
People either use the EPG data that's streamed in the broadcast stream, but that still has its issues with consistent series titles and can cause series recordings to fail.
A lot use BigScreenEPG to import data into WM7. You can use either IceTV data, or some nice people have built shepherd servers to create guides for different regions. BigScreenEPG contains inbuilt links for these free feeds.
