Hi guys,

I recently installed LAV filters and LOVE the improvement in video quality I'm getting.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to get LAV filters and MadVR running in media center, particularly with live tv?

I don't know what the technical limitations are, so sorry if it's a dumb question.

Thanks guys
Christian

Not a dumb question, but it's not possible with WMC as WMC is exclusively EVR.

I was having a look at JRiver Media Center yesterday & MadVR looks impressive in that.

MediaPortal can't use MadVR either, although using LAV in that looks pretty good. There is some talk about making MadVR an option in MP, but there's some issue about it not being completely open source.

How are you finding it? Took me a little while to work out where to set up TV, but after that I found the config reasonably straight forward.

I read on their forum that client PCs can't watch & control live TV from the master PC yet (they can schedule & watch recordings), but that they're working on it. Once they have that ability, I think it's going to be a very tempting option.
