Hey Niall Been using BSEPG for quite a while now, (paid licence and all) with only a minor glitch every now and then but I seem to have a major gitch ATM. No data for PAYTV epg. I see an error in the log file. I Error down loading MXF file: The process cannot access the file (path) tmp_inet.xml because it is being used by another process.

Any ideas?

I have no data for pay TV either. Haven't had time to take a look at the log though.

I'm in Melbourne BTW.

Hi - keep in mind I don't provide the actual EPG data (not sure which/what one you are using) - if it's the shepherd ones in the presets - please PM Kazdalk as he's maintaining those (based on Oztivo data).

cheers

The Melbourne Fox EPG should be sorted now, I have cleared the Shepherd cache, recreated the config and added some time outs. It looks like that one was creating a corrupt gz file but the xml file used as the payload was fine. It could be related to the virtual ubuntu instance that runs Shepherd unexpectedly running out of disk space the other weekend and chucking its toys out of the pram. The space issue has been resolved (I originally specced it to keep one EPG going, not the 11 it currently runs) but it seems have left some niggling issues like this. Bit of a pain really as this has all been running 24*7 without a hitch for over 12 months and I have now had to relearn some of logic of the nasty bash scripts I created that keeps it going  .

FYI - Shepherd bases its EPG on Many different sources, oztivo is well down the list of preferred sources but it will go there if it needs to.
