I think this is a bug in MEncoder, I tried everything but cna't figure it out. It's not able to read/process the file I think.

Here's one solution, the current version of Mencoder in MCEBuddy is buggy which is why you're facing this problem.
However I cannot upgrade mencoder since the new versions breaks some videos across the world.

You can try to download the latest version and just copy the entire contents into the MEncoder folder under MCEBuddy innstallation directory. I know (tested) it solves your problem, hopefully it'll work for you consistently.

I am still testing hte new versio but it's unlikely it will make it's way into MCEbuddy anytime soon.

Okay I found way, the next version of MCEBuddy will have the latest version of Mencoder and this bug will be fixed.

I downloaded the new version and uninstalled the old one. However, I hate to say it but its still doing it. The commercials at the beginning are removed but the commercials at the end are not.

That very funny, when I tried it it worked fine with the new mencoder.
Anyways, there's not much I can do about it.

the only thing I can suggest is add this following line to the profile you're using in the profiles.conf file.

MEncoderEDLSkip=true


This will make MCEBuddy not use Mencoder for cutting video but another program called MP4Box and see if the helps.
