Ummm.. the 64 bit version is named 2.1 beta 4 and 32 bit one 2.1.4 on sourceforge (in the program :)

Yes, I am using the newest.

SO I discoved:
1. If you keep the DEFAULT PATH all is fine for recoding and for output
2. If you change it to a LOCAL drive it failes (say save to "D:\IPAD"
3. Changing it to a UNC network path actually works.

This is bizzare.

I'm not sure where you found a 2.1 Beta 4. The one on sourceforge is 2.1.4 (2.1 Release 4). (for 64 bit)

Please download this version.

also I didn't understand the context of your discovery - are you referrring to the installaiton path or the temp working directory path or the monitor directory path or the output directory path?

Can you please clarify so I can try to replicate.
