With Beta 18, I have set a username and password and used the name of the NAS in the domain field (tested outside the application successfully). MCEBuddy confirms the path in the settings, but when I run it, every log file shows something similar to:
--------------------

WARNING> MCEBuddy.Engine.ConversionJob
Unable to obtain available disk space in \\192.168.2.12\GoFlex Home Public\MCEBuddy
Conversion or remux failed at 0%
Demux of C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy\working0\House_KTVUDT_2011_11_07_21_00_06.avi failed. Extracted video and audio streams not found.
Conversion or remux failed at 0%
Unable to move audio sync corrected file C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy\working0\House_KTVUDT_2011_11_07_21_00_06_AVFIX.avi
Unable to rename file C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy\working0\House_KTVUDT_2011_11_07_21_00_06.avi to C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy\working0\House-Season 08-Episode 05-The Confession-2011-11-07.avi
Unable to move file C:\Program Files\MCEBuddy\working0\House_KTVUDT_2011_11_07_21_00_06.avi to \\192.168.2.12\GoFlex Home Public\MCEBuddy\House\House_KTVUDT_2011_11_07_21_00_06.avi

-------------------------
With this NAS (Seagate GoFlex Home), I am forced to use a username/password and I can't change the name of the share paths and every one of them have spaces in them. Could this be contributing to the problem?
The NAS is Unix-based and I saw the other post about the first "unable to obtain available disk space" error. However, these others seem odd -- especially since the first few errors don't even touch the NAS. I have 23GB free on C:, so it should be able to save the files.

When I run it with a local destination, it runs successfully, but the extra 2TB of disk space of the NAS would be nice.

Is there anything I can do, or is this a bug?

I found the same "Unable to move file..." error in my logs after trying to have my conversions saved directly to my NAS. What I think would help this greatly is if the program would test the login credentials immediatly when you set them on the preferences dialog. That way you would know immediately if they were valid or not. As it stands if the login fails the converted files are just deleted. Not nice at all.

This was a bug in the old version of MCEBuddy, upgrade to BETA 20 or higher and the problem has been resolved.
