Mobo has 2 PCI slots. I've tried the card in both. No dice. :(

I also tried the latency checker you recommended back in Apr last year. My rig is okay for video < 500us latency.

It's not a Gigabyte if that is what you are getting at. :)

i7 950
MSI X58 Pro-E with 24GB DDR3
MSI GTX460 1Gb (x2)

Anything else?

the problem with Gigabyte motherboards also seems to apply to some other boards at times.

As a test try the following:

Download and install this utility - http://www.digitalno...emoteBridge.zip

Reinstall the Quad drivers (be sure to run the driver setup using the "Run as Administrator" on the setup.exe)

reboot computer

Rescan channels and test card

The utility will not cause any conflicts or problems and can easily be uninstalled if it doesn't help.

cheers

I tried this and it didn't work.

It's going back to DigitalNow for testing. If it is a lemon then it's going under the hammer so I can at last get some satisfaction from it. :)

Hi JamesP, I had the same issue. I had reservations on buying the card, as noted in earlier posts here and from previous purchases. After finally proving to the supplier I had real issues, I sent the unit back and it was replaced and the replacement now works as it should.
The symptoms I was having was tuners disappearing. I could see them disappear from device manager. I ended up proving the issue by installing the DNTV Live software and ran it till a tuner disappeared and I took some screen shots showing only 3 and then 2 and then one tuner being picked up by the DNTV Live software.

This was extremely random with tuners sometimes disappearing after about 10 minutes or sometimes days, but it always ended up happening.
