Hi all, I have made a new TP file for myself for scanning Foxtel, and have deleted many of the TPs with 'rubbish' on them in order to save deleting the channels manually. You may find it better or worse than your current .ini, depending on your use.

If you expect to have any of the Box Office or Adult Only channels, this isn't for you.

Unfortunately, some TPs have one or two important channels, and a whole lot of rubbish, so you will still have to delete some stuff.

Hey mate, do u have the latest workign transponder list? bcos my TBS dual tuner card wont pick up some of the new channels, in particular nat geo wild HD, which is odd as BBC knowledge and speed are there... any help would be appreciated.

PS: I tried this site: http://satellites-xml.eu/ but that doesn't seem to help.

Easiest way is to do a Network Scan. If that doesn't work, I'll whip something up for you tmrw. Eyes are too clouded over to make a TP file right now.

Basically, it looks at one TP on the satellite, and searches for network info from it (ie, all the current TPs on the network or satellite). Then you can scan all of those TPs.

So you choose the satellite as you normally would, and instead of going to the scan tab, you go to the network scan tab, one TP will already be selected, and you click the search button under it. Once it's done (should only take a few seconds), all the TPs will come up in a list, and you can scan them. So it's like a LiveUpdate of the TP list.

hey mate.. edit your current transponder file to include this transponder:

12094,H,29455,35,S2

it will give you the following channels:

SPEED HD
NatGeoWild HD
MTVN Live HD

the network scan will add this transponder but with incorrect settings

Thanks for your help guys, I was able to scan in those 3 new channels... but only in dvbdream. I'm wondering y i can't scan em in using dvbviewer. I've copied my working 1560.ini file from dvbdream into dvbviewer, but still no luck. Oh well

Oh, I thought you were using TVSource.

If network scan doesn't work for you, try what ideas_man suggested.

You're srsly quick ideas_man, i was just doing it as u asked. Thats my working one from dvbdream, but i'm also using it in dvbviewer, so who knows why its not working

Change this line:

9=12094,H,29455,34,8PSK

to read like this:

9=12094,H,29455,35,S2,8PSK

Yep, tried that, seems to work in dvbdream, but not dvbviewer. I'm gonna try it now in tv source. Will let u guys no. Thanks again.

Did the other HD channels show up in DVBViewer?
