Just had a look at the new ABC online offering and it looks great, and even better now iiNet have announced that it's not going to be metered on their plans.

I don't suppose this is the kind of thing that's easily integrated into Vista Media Centre where you launch it from within VMC and then use the remote control to navigate?

Or is this the justification I've been looking for to get a Logitech DiNovo Mini :D

Yeah, I was playing with it this morning. I don't really like the layout, but the concept is pretty good. Quality is OK - trying to work out if I can get FFDShow to process the video (Flash) to do some deblocking/upscaling.

Don't know about integrating it in - should be doable I suppose.

Out of interest, I ran WinPcap (in ReplayAV) to see how it would react - it didn't even find the URL. Interesting.

Cool, now they do the recording for me, and no ad's - its ABC, of course;)
It is a beta, but looks good for a beta.

guys ... just a question about iview (and others like joost) - can't get them to work in full screen mode. if i full screen my web browser that's ok but not the full screen option in the app itself. i use ffdshow - could this be the problem? Is this a flash thing? I've tried virtually every res on the plasma that doesn't help either. thoughts?

PS: i work for the ABC (in digital media - so know quite well the guys who developed iview) - they won't be able to help me with this problem but i'll be happy to pass on any feedback you have about the interface, usability content and so on.

Hi Guy's,

I'm raising this from the dead somewhat so forgive me for doing so.

Did this get resolved? I'm a huge fan of the ABC and would love to have iView accessed through MC.

By the way Yarra, tell the guys they did an excellent job. T'is a great site.

Just to let you know an app for iView has been around for a while now. For some reason the link was removed from here, not sure why but you can now get it from my website.

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead but I have added the iview mcl files to media center using media center studio and the mcl files that came with the mcewebview package, everything works fine until I click the back button and it closes the webpage and goes back to media center, MCE is in windows mode and I want it to revert back to mce in fullscreen mode. Any ideas?

Yeah, AVG says it's "Luhe.Fiha.B". I've ignored it.
