Just curious if anyone has had any luck in getting one working in Australia. Thinking about picking one up next time I'm in Singapore.

I doubt it as there's not much of a market for it here - we don't have much unencrypted satellite TV and we don't have any DVB-S2 (yet). Unless you can't get SBS and the ABC through DVB-T (and therefore need to get them from the Optus D1 satellite), there's not much point.

Thanks mate, it's what I thought satellite DVB-T, I was getting excited for a minute thinking quad-tuner :drool: but alass I'll carry on with the usual tuner issues.

I can tell you that 2 HVR-2200s (4 tuners) works very well.

I have HVR4000 and it works well in Australia allows access to all FTA ABC, SBS and other satellite FTA channels.. THe only issue it will only decode one channel at a time including DVB-T.
